Petroleum refiner has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Mechanical Turnaround (TA) Engineer. This is a 9 month contract assignment in UT. Pay depends on experience.
Responsibilities:
-> As part of the Maintenance team, you will identify area improvements, quantify the benefits, oversee/perform design and implementation
-> Ensure timely training of appropriate area personnel regarding each improvement and ensure timely updating of documentation
-> Manage change procedures for all mechanical changes and projects in the assigned area
-> Lead safety reviews of projects to ensure they are installed in a safe manner consistent with process unit requirements, loss control guidelines, regulatory requirements and industry and company codes and practices
Requirements:
-> BS in Engineering
-> 5+ years of maintenance and engineering experience in the petroleum refining industry
-> Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME codes, B31.3 piping, API, etc..)
-> Must have been involved in the planning and execution of at least one major turnaround
