Leading designer and manufacturing of packaging applications based in Western Oregon is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and commission packaging systems
Responsibilities:
-> Travel to our customer's domestic and international locations to provide technical support and training
-> Performs on-site installation, commissioning, and training to customer's personnel
Requirements:
-> US Passport and be able to travel up to 60% domestically and internationally
-> Exceptional trouble shooting skills in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatics, and PLC Controls
-> Associates degree in the discipline of industrial controls, or 3+ years experience in the machinery maintenance field with heavy electric/electronic applications
-> Relevant automation experience includes Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming software, servo systems, and multi axis robotics in industrial settings
-> Certified Trainer or able to obtain certification with PMMI within 18 months of hire
-> Knowledge of Project Management software, spreadsheet software, Word Processing software, Microsoft Outlook and Windows XP
