Leading provider of wireless network solutions has an immediate need of a Microwave Design Engineer for at least a 6 month or longer contract opportunity in the metro several major metropolitan cities throughout the Western US.
Responsibilities:
-> Microwave backhaul network design and engineering -> Validate dish alignment, installation quality, and support optimization
Requirements:
-> BS in Electrical Engineering -> 5 years of experience in microwave network design and engineering -> Knowledge in using microwave propagation and planning tools such as PathLoss 4.0 -> Clearwire experience is preferred -> Hands-on experience with microwave performance instrumentation and analysis tools -> Working level knowledge and experience in IP networking -> RF/microwave design experience with a wireless provider preferred -> Familiarity and experience with working in the UNII unlicensed band
