One of the Biggest Manufacturing Leaders in Consumer Products and Food Manufacturing is aggressively looking for a Maintenance Machinist/Specialty Electrician with an EL01Certification or be able to acquire one within the probationary period of 720 hours for one of their Plants on the West Coast. They will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of their manufacturing equipments.
Responsibilities:
-> Responsible for the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipments
-> Troubleshooting and repair of electrical circuits, installation, repair, calibration and operation of manufacturing instrumentation and control systems (analog, digital, 120v / 480v electrical)
-> Read, Interpret, Update blueprints and schematic diagrams
-> Diagnose and take corrective action to restore electrical and electronic systems
-> Troubleshoot and analyze electrical systems
-> Install conduit and pull electrical wire for new equipment electrical services
-> Keep supervisor informed of any issues that may affect maintenance performance
-> Must be available on call as needed (evenings and weekends, all shifts)
Requirements:
-> A current valid Electrician Certificate of Competency EL01
-> A minimum of 3 years experience as an Electrician in a Plant Environment
-> Must have demonstrated knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems
-> Must have thorough knowledge of machinery, gear drives, packaging/monitoring equipment
-> Strong computer skills required to install and program PLC controllers
-> PLC?s Experience Specifically: Allen Bradley PLC 2, PLC 5, SLC series and Micrologix
-> Able to work under constant demand of the production line environment
-> Single and Three Phase Power Distribution Systems up to and including 2400 volts
-> Must show reliability in past job performance and attendance
-> Must provide personal tools
-> Must join The International Association of Machinists
-> RS Logix 500 software experience
-> Food manufacturing experience
