A well-respected client located in the Los Angeles area has an immediate need for an Environmental Engineer. Local candidates are preferred and your salary will be determined on your experience and knowledge.
Responsibilities:
-> Creating, maintaining, and updating environmental plans as needed
-> Assistance in helping the US Government stay in compliance with all applicable environmental permits, performing inspections and training programs
-> Handling various programs which are somewhat media specific such as Air, Water, Solid Waste, NEPA, Hazardous Waste, Hazardous materials
-> Meeting with and working with teams members to complete duties in a timely fashion
Requirements:
-> Bachelors of Science Degree in an Environmentally related field (Biology, Natural Sciences, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Botany)
-> Minimum of 3 years of related environmental project experience
-> Must have experience in collecting environmental information and reporting findings to management and regulatory agencies
-> Must have Microsoft Office experience
-> Previous experience working at or in support of a Federal or DOD installation is desired not required
-> A secret clearance is required for the position and must be able to be obtained by the selected candidate within 3-6 months
