Leading chemical cleaning engineering company seeks a skilled Business Development Director in their Baton Rouge, LA office. Refinery engineering and sales experience is a must. Responsibilities:
-> Handle all refinery accounts in Louisiana
-> Manage every employee and every aspect of the Baton Rouge office including all pricing / proposals and supervision of the Ops Managers and their cleaning plans (drawings / procedures)
-> Introduce and support product lines through discussions with individuals at our customer facilities i.e. maintenance technicians, unit operators, process engineers, unit superintendents, or refinery top management
-> Define marketing strategy, initiate sales activity, provide engineering consultation, and make customer presentations
Requirements:
-> Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering ( ChE degree )
-> 5 - 15 years experience working for major leading oil companies in the area
-> Experience working on FCC, coker or crude units
-> Petroleum refining industry experience
-> At least 3 years experience in consultative sales
-> An interest in helping others and able to work well as a team member
-> Comfortable developing new relationships. Equally comfortable in the refinery or giving executive group presentations
-> PREFER: Someone who has worked for a Louisiana refinery (medium to large size)
