A chemical company has an immediate need for HES Manager (Health, Environmental, Safety) for a position in its northern Kentucky plant. This is a great opportunity to join an industry leader!
Responsibilities:
-> Maintain compliance with applicable regulations for environmental aspects including Air, water, waste, and asbestos -> Implement RCRA Facility Investigation -> Supervise the Waste Water Treatment plant and the Hazardous Waste Incinerator -> Interpretation of regulations and applications of regulations to plant activity -> Interaction with governmental authorities, maintains records for inspection (State/Federal) and follow legislative activities and participates in various committees, gives speeches, etc. outside plant -> Development of all plant regulatory programs
Requirements:
-> B.S. Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or similar degree (alternate B.S. degree with major in Safety Management or Industrial Hygiene with a strong background in chemistry -> Critical experience needed in heavy environmental, hazardous waste, air permitting, water, waste, and Title V -> A least five years in an industrial setting, with preference given to environmental, safety, or industrial hygiene, as well as supervisory experience -> Experience with RCRA facility investigations -> Community Right-to-Know on SARA would be a plus -> A high level of oral and written communication skills, exceptional training /presentation skills
