A leading manufacturer has an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Manager for a direct hire position in Merced, CA. This is a great opportunity to join a winning team!
Responsibilities:
-> You will provide direction and leadership in support of quality systems development and continuous improvement of product quality
-> You will manage the quality assurance department and support the various manufacturing and sales/marketing efforts
-> Establish and maintain a strong customer focus throughout the manufacturing departments and in support of plant-wide operations
-> Perform audit of vendors to assure company of high quality, trouble free parts
-> Support product development through testing and analysis of products and application of products
-> Establish and maintain a gauge calibration program
-> ISO quality system development and certification
-> Provide leadership that continuously improve core programs and systems such as Gage calibration, HACCP, Vendor auditing, Total Productive, Maintenance , Safety programs, Continuous Training, and use of metrics to measure performance
Requirements:
-> Bachelor?s degree in Business, Engineering , or a related field required
-> A minimum of 5 years experience of QA in a manufacturing environment
-> Leadership/supervisory experience
-> Quality systems development experience with vendor auditing, HACCP, and gage calibration program
-> Advanced proficiency with MS Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required
