Job Location: DENVER, CO
Global Company has great opportunity for a Director of Sales to be responsible for developing industrial engine, turbine and electrical power sales markets with companies in North and South American countries. Must be fluent in oral and written English and be bilingual in either Portuguese or Spanish language. Must be willing to travel extensively. Great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to find new business and opportunities and to excel in building a sales team throughout the territory. Specific interview dates have not been determined will be communicated as candidates are selected.

Responsibilities:

-> Responsible for regional sales growth and profit for assigned sales offices and/or business unit locations
-> Responsible for developing business throughout North and South America
-> Serves as the strategic contact with foundational customers as well as the regional management team
-> Will be accountable for development and execution of regional sales plans and strategies that support company growth and profitability objectives
-> Responsibilities include the ability to work independently, and must be self motivated
-> Responsible for developing and nurturing top-level strategic relationships with customers
-> Responsible for organization development, talent management actions, and staffing strategies to meet business skill set needs
-> Will be responsible for mentoring and providing career development for direct reports
-> Will be accountable for compliance or regulatory or customer specific requirements. (i.e., Import/Export, Licenses, Proprietary Information, FAA, IC, etc.)

Requirements:

-> Requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or business discipline with a Masters of business administration preferred
-> Requires a minimum of 10 years progressive sales experience, preferably in an industrial engine, turbine or electrical power systems market
-> Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role
-> Must be fluent in English language (written and oral) and be fluent in either Portuguese (preference) or Spanish
-> Must have a proven track record of results working for a multinational company (companies) with a diverse, global customer base
-> Requires extensive experience working with a technical/engineered product serving complex accounts and channels
-> Highly desired sales leadership experience with large-scale sales (i.e. $150M +)
-> 3-5 years general management experience in product service related environment preferred
-> Must be highly movitaed in finding new business and opportunities, as well able to identify new opportunities outside normal customer streams and mark
-> Requires an individual that is a Working Director and is willing roll up their sleeves to make things happen
-> Additional formal training in specialized areas such as program management, negotiations and strategic selling a plus
-> Requires strong leadership skills, ability to lead through other managers general management skills (financial, operations, human resource management, etc)
-> Six Sigma training, desired
