Immediate Need in Redondo Beach CA for a Quality Engineer. This is a contract position expected to last 1 year+. There are 2 openings. Local Candidates only need apply. Opportunity to work for an Aerospace industry leader!
Responsibilities:
-> Will be interfacing with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Program and Core Process Management personnel. Will support local Preventive Action Boards (PABs) and gather/present metrics and action item follow up
-> The QE must have the ability to analyze and disposition non-conforming material
-> Ability to read and interpret electronic and mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications
-> Must be able to quickly utilize shop floor control software
Requirements:
-> Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science, or Quality
-> SSBI Clearance
-> 5 years of production experience, preferably related to electronics manufacturing
-> 5 years experience with Root cause analysis, Six Sigma methodology, process monitoring and improvement, and auditing
-> Proven background in the application of Quality Assurance principles and methodologies to help solve unique manufacturing & test discrepancies, anomalies, and managing data for analysis
