Progressive chemical company in the Southern California area seeks local Manufacturing Engineer with 2+ years experience in an operating chemical plant with direct production responsibility
Responsibilities:
-> Hands on troubleshooting of existing equipment/process, new processes, and field engineering for operating plants
Requirements:
-> BS degree in Chemical Engineering from accredited college
-> 2+ years experience in an operating chemical plant with direct production responsibility
-> Knowledge of rotating equipment and vapor-liquid-equilibrium is essential
-> Knowledge of environmental containment-protection equipment-processes
-> Must have a creative mechanical aptitude, a self-starter, who assumes responsibility for his own work, and have experience working within budgets and deadlines
