A leading provider of clean fuel and power solutions in Southern California has an immediate opening for an experienced Principal Engineer. This lead role will coordinate the cross discipline engineering requirements including chemical, electrical, mechanical and control systems engineering of fuel cell power systems. A strong business acumen as well as engineering competency is necessary for this position. Please also see related positions 77673 and 77679
Responsibilities:
-> Establish relationships with company specialists in Research &Technology, test, manufacturing engineering and procurement in the US or abroad
-> Manage the overall Functional System and Subsystem Requirements documents and Test Plans
-> Establish and operate test stations and systems/design resources
-> Ensure a high standard of technical quality and accuracy in bills of materials, documents, drawings, tests and reports
Requirements:
-> B.S. in Engineering or Physics
-> Minimum 5 years in technical leadership of product development programs in the arenas of fuel cells, power systems or consumer electronics
-> Understanding of pipeline & instrumentation schematics for fluid /mechanical systems
-> Application of fluid/thermo, mechanical, controls & electrical knowledge
-> MS in Mechanical Engineering (would be a plus)
