Responsibilities:
-> The HART program is looking for a Software Engineer to develop turn-key Fedora Linux based embedded system distributions for the HART Command and Control Center (HC3) and Portable Air-vehicle Information Exploitation Super-computer (PAIES)
-> Building distributions containing the current HC3/PAIES system software as well as custom drivers, health monitoring utilities and multi-core virtualization capabilities
-> Web-based user interface development experience is a plus
Requirements:
-> A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or other related technical field
-> 5 years of experience directly related to this position
-> A working knowledge of portable open source Linux-based development processes, languages, and tools including C, C++, C#, Java, Mono/.NET, and Windows/cygwin
-> Hands on experience with SOAP, XML, and SOA based systems is a plus
-> Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance is required
-> Potential candidates will have demonstrated ability to modify or tailor Linux device drivers as well as generate Fedora Spins
