A well-respected client currently has a need for a Project Manager for projects located in Los Angeles, Ca. The project manager will have direct control of horizontal (infrastructure) construction and demolition projects. Salary will be commensurate with experience and best fit for this position.
Responsibilities:
-> Managing personnel
-> Managing all parts of projects (Horizontal Projects) including, contracts, and budgets for new and existing business which include DOD programs
-> Providing technical and management expertise to clients
-> Managing multiple projects at multiple locations
-> Will travel up to 50% to manage projects on site
Requirements:
-> Bachelor?s Degree in Construction Management, Civil/ Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or applicable hands on construction experience
-> DOD and/or DOE Project Management experience is highly desired
-> Must have experience with horizontal design build projects and it is a plus having vertical design build projects
-> 6 years experience designing piping systems, road work, earth work, site work, water/wastewater systems is a big plus
-> CPM scheduling required, with use of Primavera desired
-> Must have a good working knowledge of application software MS Word and Excel
-> 50% travel
