IMMEDIATE NEED!!!!.....Our client is a electrical testing & technical services company specializing in commissioning, start up and maintenance testing of high voltage electrical substations & systems for utilities, industrial, governmental and transit system clients. They are growing and looking for several Relay Test Field Technicians & Engineers with 3-20+ years of hands on experience with protective relays or substations. You should have experience as a Technician or Engineer working for a Utility, a Relay Manufacturer or a similar high voltage electrical testing company. The most urgent jobs are in CT, NH, VT, Chicago, IL & St. Louis, MO. Client offers vacation, 401k, great pay, relocation assistance, & medical benefits.
Responsibilities:
-> Your main responsibility will be to install, maintain, test, & repair protective relays on high voltage substations
-> You will travel in the North East region servicing customers, but will also need to support other regions depending on the work load
Requirements:
-> 3-25 years of hands on experience installing, maintaining, testing & repairing protective relays on high voltage substations
-> You must be able to calibrate and perform functional tests on both electromechanical and micro-processor based protective relays for high voltage substations
-> You also need experience installing, maintaining, testing, & repairing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and similar equipment
-> Capable of trouble shooting distribution and transmission controls circuits
-> Client will provide company service truck and pay for expenses when you have to service clients out of the immediate area
-> 75% Regional Travel
