An Aerospace aftermarket components manufacturing client has an opening for a West Coast Regional Sales Manager based out of their location near the Long Beach, CA area. This position will provide regional leadership for the business development function in order to achieve customer service, market share and profit objectives. Relocation may be considered for an ideal candidate that lives in the Western US.
Responsibilities:
-> Manage customer relationships within assigned territory and accounts to defend and grow business -> Interface with inside sales groups to ensure timely response to customer requests -> In cooperation with Business Development leadership, develops marketing plan and the strategies, tactics necessary to achieve sales and marketing goals for assigned territory and accounts -> Within customer accounts, develop an organization chart that identifies key buying influences for each division, within Engineering, Procurement, and Management -> Working with Sales team, gathers and provides market intelligence -> Supports a system-wide marketing reporting function that can track, measure, and analyze performance -> Develops and maintains strong relations with customers through consistent contact -> Support client at Trade Show activities -> Support clients process to effectively filter RFQ?s to ensure effective bid/no bid decision
Requirements:
-> Bachelors Degree in Engineering -> 10 years experience in Aerospace product-related sales and marketing -> Experienced in Specialty Bearings, Hydraulic Controls, and Specialty Fasteners -> Experience servicing major accounts within assigned territory such as: Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Boeing Long Beach & Mesa GE Aerospace, Goodrich, Honeywell, etc. is a plus
