IMMEDIATE NEED!!!!.....Our client is a electrical testing & technical services company specializing in commissioning, start up and maintenance testing of high voltage electrical substations & systems for utilities, industrial, governmental and transit system clients. They are growing and looking for several Relay Test Field Technicians & Engineers 5-20+ years of hands on experience with protective relays or substations. You should have experience as a Technician or Engineer working for a Utility, a Relay Manufacturer or a similar high voltage electrical testing company. Our client has openings in the following states: LA, CO, MO, FL, VA, TX, TN, AZ, & PA. The most urgent needs are in Chicago, IL - Hartford, CT and Manchester, NH. You MUST be able to calibrate and perform functional tests on both electromechanical and micro-processor based protective relays for high voltage substations. You also need to be capable of trouble shooting distribution and transmission controls circuits. You need experience installing & testing the following equipment: transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, CCVT, ABS, RTU & protective relay systems. You will travel in your region & state, but will also need to support other regions depending on the work load. Client is NOT looking for electricians. Client will provide company service truck and pay for expenses when you have to service clients out of the immediate area.
