A client in New York City is very actively searching for a Senior System Analyst to join their Operation and Computer Engineering Section. The Senior System Analyst will be involved in all aspects of the support and maintenance of the 24x7 Operation Management Systems at the both the primary and alternate Energy Control Centers. Candidate should have a working knowledge of relational databases, Linux/Unix and/or Windows2003 System Management, client/server technology and TCP/IP. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint software required. This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and at least four years of experience. Relevant experience should include areas such as system development, engineering, management and support of critical application computer projects, system and network administration, documentation of system performance and anomalies, and user training. Programming/Scripting experience in PERL, PHP, Visual Basic, VBScript, ASP, JAVAScript, HTML, XML, Ingres OpenRoad is a plus.
