Job Description:
There is currently an opening for a Director of Engineering in Northern Kentucky. Our client is currently looking for a candidate with strong communication, mentoring and directing skills. Proven leaderships skills are a must! Company is looking for an individual that can plan, manage and direct the Engineering team. This includes managing the budget, costs and scheduling input of current projects, formulating and recommending engineering policies and technical work assignments in accordance with project and company objectives, and taking part in preparing proposals.
Qualified candidates must have a BSEE or BSME (MSEE, MSME or MBA desired) and 10 years of progressing engineering management responsibility/Team leadership experience. Candidates with military defense experience, CMMI certification and Six Sigma Black Belt experience are highly desired. Other required skills include general knowledge of Controls, Electrical, Fluids, Kinematic, Metallurgical, Structural and Thermodynamic systems. Applicants must be familiar with Deltek ERP and Primavera P3E, Microsoft Office Tools and Project Management Tools. All applicants must have strong communication and mentoring skills.
