Job Description:
This person will be part of a small design team designing the externals of a gas turbine engine.
This person assumes responsibility for the design of gas turbine external systems and performs the following tasks:
a. Create engine component specifications and works with outside supplier to design and qualify specified components on time
b. Create engine external arrangements and works with airframers to integrate engine
c. Work with graphics modeler to develop engine externals arrangement
d. Create bill of materials for responsible hardware
e. Create & approve engine component dwgs and layouts
f. Create technical reports, qualification plans & reports
e. 4 yr technical degree and 5 yrs experience developing gas turbine engines.
