Introduction
The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), a national leader in scientific research and development, located midway between Baltimore and Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Counter-CBRNE Systems Analyst.

Responsibilities
Job Description - Conduct multi-intelligence and technical analysis in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) defeat and related Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) assessments for the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) and other Federal organizations Combating WMD in Washington, DC area.

Duties - Support teams performing counter improvised explosive device (C-IED) and other counter weapons of mass destruction (C-WMD) assessments with multi-intelligence and technical analysis utilizing JHU/APL's resident or acquired capabilities. Document and communicate results to sponsors. Coordinate related analysis initiatives among JIEDDO project teams associated with C-IED and C-WMD defeat efforts. Brief program and project managers on better means to conduct relevant analyses. Provide subject matter expertise to focus C-IED analysis in signatures exploitation, technical gaming and red teaming, ORSA analysis, ISR analyst mission planning support, foreign area expertise for current military operations. Identify opportunities where JHU/APL can best help sponsors address key technical and analytical challenges. Conduct complex adaptive systems analysis for counter terrorism social networking analysis in concert with program manager and sponsor.

Qualifications
Required - B.S. degree in an analytically-oriented technical discipline. Demonstrated ability to perform a variety of multi-intelligence and technical intelligence studies/analyses in national level programs. Superb written/oral communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical issues effectively. 7+ years total professional experience with emphasis on DoD related analyses.

Desired - M.S. degree or equivalent experience in Intelligence Analysis, or a related scientific/technical discipline. Experience in military operations and ISR support, C-IED intelligence, multi-INT collections and analysis, technical intelligence, and counter terrorism programs, including social networking analysis. Experience in C-IED military operations or C-WMD intelligence support for senior decision makers.

Special Work Conditions
Ability to travel. Frequent visits to sponsor's offices within the Washington, DC area.

Security
Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.
