Job Details:

Zef Scientific seeks to hire a Service Engineer to work in Newark, Delaware. The duties of the position will be as follows:

• Installing, maintaining, validating, troubleshooting, and decommissioning liquid chromatography and mass spectrometer (LC-MS/MS) systems, as well as support for software and hardware;
• Maintaining and repairing Waters Acquity LC and Waters Xeveo mass spectrometers;
• Upgrading and reinstalling Mass Lync software for Waters and Analysis of SCIEX mass spectrometers;
• Training scientists in the use of liquid chromatographs and mass spectrometers;
• Identify faults in equipment by analyzing electronic diagrams for any liquid chromatography and mass spectrometer instrumentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering or closely related academic discipline;
• Five years’ experience with mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography devices
