Job Location: Wichita, KS
Shift: 1st
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Relocation Assistance: NA
FLSA Status: Exempt
The Account Executive develop new Customers, new products, identify new markets, and strengthen and expand current Customer Relationships.  Account Executives work as a part of a team  having responsibility for creating and enhancing Customer satisfacation by resolving product and service problems.
 
This position requires travel anytime, anywhere, but not limited to exhibit at Trade Shows, to investigate and provide solutions for field issues, to provide specific training to Customers, and to participate in Product installations. Travel for this position is typically 26-32 weeks per year.  More travel may be required, dependent on business conditions.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
1.    Abide by XLT Quality Management System.
2.    Understand that Customer satisfaction is our first priority, and the importance of compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements.
3.    Protect the Company's assets, reputation, goodwill, and stature in the marketplace at all costs.
 
Essential Functions: This position will perform the below listed duties consistently, accurately, timely, safely, and at the lowest feasible cost:
1.    Establish and maintain good relationships with Customers via email, telephone, or face-to-face
2.    Initiate communications throughout company and client organizations; Competence and corporate etiquette are required
3.    Listen to Customer's queries patiently
4.   Acquire successful sales methods utilizing Bob DeGroot methodology
5.    Acquire Five Needs of a Sales Professional: Knowledge of Prroduct, Knowledge of Market, Skill in Seling, Skill in Cooking, and Skill in Communication
6.    Secure new Customers
7.    Develop and maintain Customer Account Plans
8.    Review Customer Profiles
9.    Achieve sales revenue targets and assigned strategic acount objectives
10.  Strenghten and maintain relationships with current Customers
 
11.  Prepare and update databases, sales reports, and activity reports
12.  Secure Distributor Agreements
13.  Secure Arrangements as required
14.  Coordinate all travel arrangements
15.  Maintain composure even if the Customer is rude
16.  Determine solutions to problems in a timely manner
17.  Coordinate with other Team Members to find solutions and resolve problems
18.  Escalate problems in a timely manner
19.  Provide Customer and industry feedback and data to the Marketing Specialist
20.  Attend Trade Shows as required
21.  Host Customer visits as required
22.  Perform housekeepiong of the office area as required
23.  Observe safety rules
24.  Develop work instructions and job training materials
25.  Assist the Sales Supervsior in identifying unsafe acts and conditions, and then implementing and maintaining a safe working environment
26.  Participate in continuous education and training
27.  Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the President

Experience Required: Previous experience in customer service, sales, and/or food service

Education Required: Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in a business curriculum from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
 
Computer Skills: Basic Computer, E-Mail, and Web skills are required. Most of the documentation and training is done through the use of computers.  Advanced Computer skills required are Microsoft Office, Sage 50.
 
Licenses Required: Valid Driver’s License
 
Travel Documents: Valid United States Passport
