Define requirements, analyze, design, develop and test operational, strategic and federally mandated reports for internal and external stakeholders, leadership, CMS, and steering committees using Oracle SQL Developer, SQL Management Studio, SSIS & SSRS. Incorporate modem visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau to enhance business understanding through artistic, simple and concise data story telling. Develop metrics and reporting that help provide data for critical decision making. Design and prepare various statistical ad-hoc reports. Analyze, design, and test various enhancements and changes to reports. Analyze and troubleshoot data issues and provide detailed analysis and propose effective solutions and downstream impact. Work directly with management, external stakeholders, executive leadership, and with the Data and Reporting Manager to identify reporting solutions that provide value. Provide support in requirement gathering and design of the newly evolving Data Warehouse. Develop clear and well-structured analytical plans and analyze large datasets, including HBF data, Medicaid data and other external data. Perform system feasibility studies, attend JAD sessions, and provide expert feedback to the upcoming RFCs, data model changes. The position may include additional duties that utilize the required skills.
Required Qualifications:
Requires a Master’s degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Analytics, or a related field, and one year of experience as Data Analyst Intern, Analytics Engineer Intern, Associate Software Engineer, or related position. Experience must include:
- Analyzing, developing and maintaining databases and running database queries utilizing SQL Server, Oracle SQL Developer, SQL Management Studio;
- Configuring databases and data sources and preparing reports;
- Designing model relational databases and performing performance tuning and profiling; and
- Performing data analytics, data manipulation and migration, and analyzing and managing data in large databases.
Will accept paid or unpaid internship, research or co-op experience gained during academic studies. 100% telecommuting is acceptable for the position. Must reside within Washington State.

Salary: $118,414.00 - $130,857.00/Year
