Summary:
Web Yoga has partnered with a Dayton Ohio company to find and qualify candidates for their Business Systems Analyst position. This role requires an understanding of the business processes that supports the functioning of enterprise business systems, including back office and analytic systems.
Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
This role requires the ability to analyze business systems and processes, document as-is and to-be processes. Ability to influence business users to accept data sourcing, data storage, data processing, and data presentation that meet enterprise business needs.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to:
- Work at a high level to analyze the stakeholder’s business objectives, recommend and develop solutions to address their business problem;
- Analyze and define business processes both “As Is” and “To Be”;
- Identify, analyze and document the business requirements and deliver work products through the project life cycle
- Translate the business requirements into Functional requirements.
- Develop and document new project concepts
- Develop and manage project scope
- Assist in managing project change controls
- Document process reengineering (as is and to be)
- Elicit and document requirements
- Communicate effectively with business process owners and stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with engineers and architects
- Understand and analyze business problems
- Communicate effectively (written and spoken)
- Manage stakeholder relationships
- Facilitate discussions
- Negotiate and build consensus
- Model data flows
- Model business processes
- Plan and manage activities
- Facilitate and develop business strategy
- Understand and manage organizational change
Qualifications
