Job Description:
Present classes/instruction to individuals and families on pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenting. Continuously improves processes and services. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility to maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Job Requirements:
Minimum knowledge and skills required:
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
Knowledge of accepted education standards and practice.
Knowledgeable in one of the following areas: childbirth, breastfeeding, infant care, CPR, car seat safety, or other applicable areas.
Minimum Education and experience required:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or related Bachelor’s degree
Prefer previous teaching experience
Licensure or registration required:
Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Kansas.
CPR certification, if teaching CPR
Certified by the American Society for Psychoprophylaxis in Obsetrics (ASPO/Lamze), or International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA) or actively seeking certification.
