THE COMPANY -
Wells Manufacturing LP is a leading full line provider of engine management components sold in the North American automotive aftermarket. We also supply a variety of components to OEM’s. Wells provides customers with high quality engine management components at competitive prices with on-time delivery. We are TS16949 and ISO14000 certified. Our Engineering Group is currently looking to add an Engineering Lab Technician.
THE JOB -
As an Engineering Lab Technician you will be part of a team of project engineers and other technicians developing future products. Your responsibilities will include assisting engineers on prototype development, field-testing, environmental testing and failure analysis. Your assignments will require detailed documentation of all test results, procedures and written reports.
THE REQUIREMENTS -
This position requires at least one year of electro-mechanical or electronics technician experience in an R&D or engineering lab environment. Previous employment should demonstrate your ability to take initiative to troubleshoot and complete assignments with minimal supervision in a team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a requirement. Your education must include an Associate Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Electronics or related field, a working knowledge of standard lab test equipment and solid PC skills (Microsoft Word & Excel are frequently used).
