Job Details:
Responsible for monitoring day to day staffing and insuring proper coverage for hospitality, building services and dietary. Responsible for maintaining standards of cleanliness, sanitation and food safety requirements of designated areas of the hospital including patient areas, main kitchen, cafeteria and various other public areas. Oversee cafeteria and patient meal service to assure quality control and timeliness. Duties include monitoring the flow of work, supply needs, training of new employees and the monitoring and supervising of tasks.
Requirements:
High School Diploma plus additional coursework and supervisory experience in related field required. Associates degree in related field preferred. Food Safety Certification acceptable to CT State Department of Health required. Knowledge of housekeeping techniques, food code and other regulatory requirements. Experience in a union environment preferred.
