Duties:

Lead a virtual cloud architecture function and integrate layers across all products, driving strategy and execution; provide strategic guidance and oversight to the technical teams in alignment with Verint's cloud strategy; build relationships with business and tech leaders to ensure a seamless and connected set of tech products across the organization; serve as a subject matter expert in creating cloud-to-cloud systems integration standards and strategy; establish the cloud-to-cloud integration architectures and patterns for the technical teams' implementation and integration; engage with customers, partners and Verint business stakeholders to drive the Cloud-to-Cloud integration strategy, implementation and execution; drive adoption of the Verint Cloud Platform by Verint product lines; develop and establish agreed-upon enterprise cloud architecture frameworks to govern solutions development and investments leveraging SMEs and technical resources within all technology areas; apply knowledge of emerging technologies relevant to meet the business need and keep the enterprise cloud current and competitive in the industry; lead a set of prioritized experiments across emerging tech which are fit for purpose; maintain industry best practices to create scalable and secure cloud solutions; manage and define the firm-wide system architecture, roadmap, and standards. In the performance of these duties, the Enterprise Cloud Architect will use streaming architectures, including cost analysis and performance tuning; Integration and Messaging solutions, including Apache Kafka Redis, Spring Integration, RabbitMQ and ActiveMQ; Micro Services Architecture using Java, Node.js or .Net; DevOps best practices and tech stack solutions such as Git, Jenkins, Terraform; and AWS, GCP or Azure.

Requirements:              

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus ten (10) years of experience in software engineer, architect, or related position leading Enterprise cloud architecture development. Specific skills/other requirements - Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this): high volume systems (>100,000 users) and designing solutions for reliability and performance at scale; streaming architectures including cost analysis, performance tuning, and quality of service concerns; Using Integration and Messaging solutions, including one of the following: Apache Kafka Redis, Spring Integration, RabbitMQ, and ActiveMQ or similar; Experience of implementing Micro Services Architecture using Java, Node.js,  Go or .Net; DevOps best practices and tech stack solutions using one of the following: Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Harness or related; working in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP or Azure); Documenting and creating architecture and design standards; Troubleshooting platform issues and creating proof of concepts; and Communicating to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
