Description:
The Information Services Training Specialist reports to the Director of Information Services. This position works closely with the director to find solutions to problems and special project creation and direction. This position will be responsible for all levels of end-user training from introduction to advanced maintenance of the ADVANCE system. The position will be responsible for writing application level help and documenting Advancement’s policies and procedures with regards to the Advance application using Adobe’s RoboHelp system. In addition, the eligible candidate must have knowledge of and experience with the use of a fundraising database such as Advance.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution of higher education
• Experience training and working with end-users of a large database system
• Experience writing and documenting application level help and institution’s policies and procedures using advanced help tools
• Strong communication skills: written, verbal, and listening
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and computer technology skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in non-profit fund-raising and/or higher education sector
• Experience with the application help system, Adobe RoboHelp
• Experience working with end-users troubleshooting application errors and problems, determining solutions and documenting policies
• Experience working with Crystal Reports Development tool and Crystal Reports Server
