Job Details:

Tenex Software Solutions, Inc. is currently looking for a System Administrator to join our team in Tampa, Florida. Applicants must possess an associate degree in Computer Networking and Technical Support or related IT field, along with five years of experience.

Tenex Software Solutions is willing to accept a foreign degree equivalency. The duties of this position will include the following:

• Maintain server securities by inspecting AWS logs, alerts, and reports at the start of the day
• Actively monitor all client systems, including databases, to see if anything needs to be tended to, notifying the respected people involved
• Monitor network traffic between both internal and cloud-based systems
• Audit any servers and systems for any security improvements
• Be a liaison to security questions and concerns for all environments
• Create new environments within AWS and properly configure them based on business and client needs
• Create and maintain new accounts for in-office staff personal
• Whitelist IPs for clients and keep items down to the least privileged
• Jump into any database to add additional items, such as poll books, users, and server dependent-entries
• Backup and restore client systems from the cloud when requested
• Allow access to authorized (in-office) personnel within servers and permit further access to those needing it in the future
• Able to troubleshoot and correct office technologies, including (but not limited to) printers, computers, and local network 
• Assist with questions regarding system securities within environments
• Answer client and staff questions regarding access to modules and securities
• Setup and decommission office technologies
