Job Description:
- Will lead team of antenna engineers focused on the capturing and executing high technology RADAR programs within the Antenna and Video Technologies Business unit.
- Identification of new business opportunities associated with our defense and national security business, related to the Integrated Battlespace Mission Area and the Antenna and Video Technologies business area.
- Fostering innovative design approaches and rapid prototyping within our operational procedures and policies.
- Coordinate customer contacts with key government and Industry RADAR customers including Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), ONR, NRL and DARPA
- Provide leadership, knowledge, business opportunities, strategies, competitive intelligence, market and legislative forecasts commensurate with our financial and strategic plans relative to the purpose noted above
Requirements:
- A BS degree in a related field is required, plus 15 or more years experience in defense or related industry. Completion of MS and PhD degrees preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in radar system design including synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and moving target indictor (MTI) for surface and airborne radar systems.
- Strong radar system analysis background and demonstrated ability to flow down system requirements to antenna system requirements.
- Experience with active RF electronics design is desired.
- Demonstrated business developmental skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Demonstrated experience in leading design teams and new business capture activities
- Must be a superb presenter with documented presentation experience to senior decision making and technical audiences.

- Strong written and proposal skills
- Must have demonstrated excellent leadership and interpersonal skills in relevant business environments
- Influencing, communication and team skills will be critical to successful execution of the duties of the position
- In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level should be considered. Each higher level degree, i.e. Master's degree or Ph.D. may substitute for two years of experience.
- Two years of experience may be substituted for each year of education.
