St. Jude Medical, an Abbott Labs Co., in Sylmar, CA seeks qualified Sr Electrical Engineer. Resp for constructing a variety of prototype tools, breadboards & fixtures required for development purposes using PADS Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Logic/Layout. Bachelors or foreign equiv in Electrical Engineering or highly rltd fld of study w/ min. 3 yrs of rltd exp in: (i) conducting evaluations, tests & analyses rltd to feasibility & function; (ii) typical electrical test bench instruments incl oscilloscopes, waveform generators, source measurement units, battery simulators, power analyzers, logic & protocol analyzer, LCR meters & Digital Multimeters (DMMs); & (iii) instrumentation design & software development for hardware test automation using C# & Python programming. An EOE. 40 hrs/wk. $108,576 – $173,300 per year.
