St. Jude Medical, an Abbott Labs co., seeks qualified Sr SW Verification Eng in St. Paul, MN. Resp for supporting Electrophysiology (EP) SW verification team by working on complex tech problems. Bachelors or foreign equiv in Comp Sci, Electronics Eng, Comp Eng, Biomed Eng, or closely rltd fld of study w/ min. 4 yrs of rltd exp in: (i) supporting new & existing SW automation development & infrastructure mgmt; (ii) visual modeling, GUIs, multi-threading, networking, relational databases, formal SW development methodologies & source code mgmt (iii) testing code utilizing Frameworks, automation tools, emulators, test scripts & functional & scripting languages s/a Python, Java, C# & C++; (iv) evaluating prototypes thru structured & ad-hoc testing prototypes of new projects to verify outputs & determine if intended use requirements are met; & (v) task creation, bug mgmt, troubleshooting, requirement traceability & isolating software issues & future development.
