Job Details:

St. Jude Medical, an Abbott Labs co., located in Plymouth, MN seeks qualified R&D Eng II. Provide research & development (R&D) support for wide range of diagnostic, imaging & ablation therapy cardiovascular catheters. .Bachelors or foreign equiv in Mechanical Eng, Biomed Eng, Material Sci & Eng or closely rltd fld of study w/ min. 1 year of exp in med device industry. Must possess exp in: (i) writing & submitting Engineering Change Orders & supporting development of risk mgmt documentation (DFMEA, PFMEA & UFMEA) utilizing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software; (ii) investigating & evaluating design changes, mfg changes, Non-Conformance Material Report (NCMR), Corrective & Preventative Actions (CAPA) & customer complaints; (iii) creating & developing design test methods for development of new & market released products, & performing Design Verification/Validation testing & data analysis for proposed designs; & (iv) quality & regulatory org requirements, Food & Drug Administration (FDA), American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM), International Org of Standardization (ISO), & other industry relevant regulatory boards.
