Requirements: SAIC's Space and Geospatial Intelligence Business Unit currently has an opening in Columbia, MD for a Software Engineer. No relocation assistance is provided.
Candidates MUST currently possess an active polygraph security clearance.
Education and Experience Required:
A Bachelors degree plus a minimum of 3 years experience in designing and/or developing multi-tier Java web applications, developing and validating user and system requirements, writing design documents, test plans and test results, and assessing architecture and current hardware limitations and recommending solutions.
Candidates must also have experience in designing and developing applications using one or more languages such as C or Java, and experience using SQL and PL/SQL to access Oracle and SQL Server databases. Must also exhibit a working knowledge of Java APIs such as JDBC, JPA, and EJB. An understanding of planning, developing, and implementing Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) processes or process improvement tool expertise is also needed.
