Our Systems Field Support Division in Rockwall, Texas has an immediate opening in our Business Development Group for a Director Market Strategy-Government Services.
This position will be responsible for developing and executing the Division’s business development and market strategies for expanding existing business and entering parallel or new markets. The position will also be responsible for leading and coordinating Price-to-Win activities for new business pursuits to include developing competitive pursuit strategies and pricing models.
The position is responsible for all market research to include building business cases and comparative analysis models for targeted sustainment and logistics support opportunities. This includes in-depth experience performing competitive research, analyzing Government RFPs, developing pricing in accordance with RFPs, and conducting other research/analysis to support decision making.
The candidate is required to have experience developing strategies and competitive pricing models in the aviation and ground vehicle support and DoD and US Government markets. Experience and understanding with Performance Based Logistics type contracts and requirements is highly desirable.
The position requires coordinating and working with cross-functional teams involved in the development of new business capture and pursuits and assisting with capture strategies. The position requires strong communication skills to advise team members and senior management on status of projects.
Requirements:
5 - 8 years directly related experience in market strategy development/implementation and price-to-win. Experience with various research techniques and tools required. Must possess, analytical skills with proficiency in the use of PowerPoint, Excel and other business application software. Ability to develop and deliver formal presentations to Senior Management - required. The position will be based in Rockwall, TX. Bachelor's degree MBA preferred.
