Job Description:

L-3 Vertex has successfully modified over 15,000 aircraft comprised of more than 125 unique aircraft types.
The qualified applicant must have minimum of five (5) years recent avionics/electronics maintenance experience indicated below with military or civilian special programs. Duties to be performed include but not limited to: Experience maintaining mission systems on ISR Aircraft similar to RC-12, EP-3E, RC-135 or MARS Aircraft systems. Must be capable of properly installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing specialized mission support equipment: Be familiar with operation and maintnence of ARC-231 and PRC-117 Radios; MX-15 Systems; the concept of operations of video downlink systems and operation of networks. Must have a good RF background and be familiar with test equipment used to maintain above mentioned systems. Knowledge, skills, and abilities required: Possess analytical ability, read and interpret schematics/wiring diagrams, have a positive attitude, be a self-starter, work well with others and have the physical ability to lift and handle heavy material. Must have basic typing skills and computer knowledge. Position may require periodic CONUS/OCONUS travel, shift-work in addition to scheduled and unscheduled overtime and weekend/holiday work. Must be able to obtain an interim secret security clearance and successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and background checks. King Air 200 / C-12 Experience or 350 experience is preferred.
FCC GENERAL LICENSE desired - Avionics/Electronics experience specified above is highly preferred.
MUST QUALIFY FOR AND OBTAIN A DOD "SECRET" SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN INTERIM SECRET CLEARANCE BEFORE HIRE AND A CRRENT US PASSPORT TO SUPPORT CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS
