JCA Quality Assurance Manager / 39917-08-8146
Job Location: Madison, MS
Summary
Candidate will be responsible for Quality Assurance oversight of compliance for all JCA maintenance and related activities. The QA Mgr. supervises the Quality Control (QC) Sections at each Bed-Down base and field maintenance site.
Candidate must possess current Airframe & Powerplant and Inspection Authorization certifications; have an in-depth knowledge of FAA FAR Parts 43, 65, 91 and 145 with maintenance experience, and be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge ANSI/ISO 9000 series & AS9100 Management Systems, with experience in auditing to compliance. The candidate must be able to develop quality procedures, maintenance instructions, training procedures and work instructions. Candidate should have a good working knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience in compliance. The candidate must be able to develop and implement a management review with Program and Executive Management.
Candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree (BS or BA) from an accredited four (4) year college or university in Aviation Maintenance or related field and (4) years of experience in work related to the above described examples, or graduation from a standard four (4) year high school or equivalent (GED) AND six (6) years of recent maintenance/QC experience; Prior C-130 series aircraft or large multi-engine propeller driven aircraft experience is preferred. Must be able to temporarily deploy to potentially hostile and austere environments. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. Must be able to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and work in varying climactic conditions.
