Job Description
The Sales Intern exists to support the Sales Team to sell Qbase services and solutions. The Sales Intern is responsible for a wide variety of tasks including making initial customer calls, building client prospect lists, and shadowing the Account Executives. This position supports the sale of Qbase products, solutions, and services to meet assigned goals, to manage client relationships, and to maintain company standards of ethics and trustworthiness.
Responsibilities:
Creates client prospect lists for various territories and stack ranks prospects
Researches potential clients and creates company profiles
Works with other Qbase staff to help deliver solutions to clients on time and in the manner promised
Works with the Marketing Communications Department to create collateral packages for client visits
Represents Qbase at professional organizational meetings, conferences, and conventions with the Sales Team
Effectively uses sales database and CRM tools to track contact and sales activity
Maintains accurate and up-to-date client information
Makes initial calls to potential clients to set appointments and product demonstrations with the Account Executives
Knowledge and skills:
Self-starter
Negotiation and exceptional listening skills
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Be willing to work independently and as a team
Strong communication and verbal skills
Education and work experience:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
Prior sales experience is a bonus
Requirements:
University Affiliations:
Wittenberg University, University of Dayton, Cedarville University, Central State, Clark State Community College, Wright State University, Sinclair Community College.
Status:
Preferred candidate will be in the start of their senior year with minimum GPA of 3.0. Sophomores of two year colleges will be considered.
Residency:
All residencies accepted. Ohio state residents preferred.
