Our client is a 300 bed, Level II Trauma Center, They have embarked on the $130 million Century Project to expand, modernize, equip and furnish the facilities through the construction of a new five-story patient tower and a single-story surgery center and emergency center, doubling the capacity of the current hospital.
Department Info:
At their acute site they are a Trauma 2 center. They have everything except burn patients. They have almost no pediatric patients. They do have CVA, Joint replacements, Open Heart, MVAs/multiple trauma...adults and geriatric. Inpatient rehab has about 80% CVAs, some TBIs and occasional SCIs, some amputees, and a small mix of other neuro and ortho diagnosis, generally a geriatric population with some adult age. Outpatient has a mixed population of adults and geriatrics; discharged patients from inpatient, (diagnosis above), work injury patients, etc.
Where the OT is Needed:
They need OTs in both Inpatient rehab and Inpatient acute care. They have 2 OTs who handle CHT, so this is strictly Inpatient care
Requirements
They require a current Occupational Therapist license from the State of California.

2+ Years experience
Salary:
33.19 to $39.00 hourly
