An opening presently exists for an OCCUPATIONAL Therapist at a 44 bed hospital in a pretty area in eastern Illinois. This hospital is doing very well and recently completed an $11 million expansion. The ideal candidate for this position could be either a recent grad or an OT with many years of experience. The job would mostly be acute care with the main focus being outpatient orthopedics. While the therapist would see some inpatients most of the clients would be outpatients. To a lesser degree there will be some neuro and some geriatrics.
The hospital is located in a safe, friendly town of 9000. The crime rate is low and the cost of living is very reasonable. The schools are excellent and there are several colleges within commuting distance. The hospital was built in 1968.
