Building Entrance Screener

The building entrance screener will provide the first point of contact for employees and visitors by providing symptom screening and temperature checking upon entrance to a company. This position will greet, ask structured health questions and take temperatures of all employees and visitors entering the building.

Responsibilities:

Administering and interpreting the temperature of an individual utilizing infrared thermometers according to the manufacturer`s instructions and CDC guidance for personal protection.

Screen visitors and employees using the screening questionnaire

Put on (don) and remove (doff) personal protective equipment (PPE) per company protocol as required

Reporting cases of positive and negative responses according to established protocols while remaining cognizant of appropriate reporting requirements (State, Local and Federal) requirements (established per site).

Collect and accurately document information on symptoms into a tracking system

Appropriately acknowledge or greet each person entering the building at assigned entrance.

Displays courteous, helpful behavior to employees, visitors, and team members.

Follows protocol for screening employees and visitors as they enter the facility.

Adheres to all employee and visitor health screening policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication skills- verbal and written, and able to work independently Strong planning and organizational skills; detail oriented Critical thinking and sound judgment required Background in healthcare preferred/understanding of COVID-19 symptoms Ability to listen and be compassionate to distressed individuals Available to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and on-call.
