SUMMARY:
The Director of Systems Development works closely with the Director of Education in guaranteeing that all Synergistic Learning Systems products correspond to the company’s goals and philosophies. From a supervisory perspective, the Director of Development is responsible for administration and management of the Synergistic Learning Systems Development team. The daily focus is to oversee the design and development of Synergistic Missions, Synergistic Modules, Synergistic Suites, and Synergistic CareerPorts. These tasks are accomplished by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
Direct development of Synergistic Learning Systems solutions
Supervise the following personnel within the Development Department (programmers, graphic artists, curriculum specialists, quality assurance, video, and so forth)
Evaluate student and teacher success in schools utilizing Synergistic Learning Systems solutions; determine ways to increase success rate
Identify and research modifications needed in content, delivery, assessment, and student management systems
Ensure that development projects stay on schedule and within projected budgetary estimates
Prepare annual budget for the systemic solutions development departments
Evaluate educational tools and concepts that can improve the Synergistic Learning Systems solutions
Serve as a resource for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service Departments on educational endeavors related to Synergistic Learning Systems solutions
Stay abreast of national and international education and development trends
