Description
Perform complex system administration activities for the LAN/WAN network, for example, performance turning and configuration of network address and names. Evaluate, design, plan and modify the LAN/WAN and associated systems to operate within the defined parameters. Provide tactical and strategic input on overall network planning and related projects. Provide documentation/project tracking and management reporting. Perform troubleshooting of end-user problems, for example, routing for network protocols, network configuration for edge switches, direct dial or internet connectivity and authorization. Develop test disaster recovery plan and procedures.
Required Experience
5+ years professional IT experience with a background in Cisco networking technologies.
Thorough knowledge of IT change management and project management processes.
Thorough knowledge of current CISCO networking technologies and best practices.
Thorough knowledge of system administration activities for CISCO networking.
Working knowledge of process improvement methodology and application, for example, Six Sigma.
Thorough knowledge of technical and functional responsibilities for areas within IT and across multiple sites.
Thorough knowledge of system administration activities for a CISCO network.
Thorough knowledge of IT change management and project management processes.
Thorough knowledge of disaster recovery plan and procedures for CISCO networks.
