Description:
Elicit, analyze, specify, validate, and manage the true needs of project stakeholders and business units. Serve as a conduit between the business customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Identify project stakeholders, users, and appropriate representatives of each.
· Identify and document project vision, goals, objectives and scope.
· Elicit business and systems requirements using contemporary techniques and practices.
· Write high-level and detailed business requirements that express a shared understanding of the user’s problem and needs.
· Translate business requirements into functional requirements that are suitable for use by a development team.
· Identify and document nonfunctional requirements, such as quality attributes, constraints, etc.
· Recommend solutions based on business requirements.
· Verify requirements are satisfied by the resulting deliverable.
· Establish and implement continuous improvement of the requirements process.
Required:
· 3+ years as a IT business analyst and/or project manager
· Strong application or software development background
