POSITION GOAL:
Performs those duties directly involved with the completion of all requested procedures of the CT Department with regards to Quality and Quantity, providing services to all inpatients and outpatients of all age groups. Supervises employees duties and their work process daily. Responsible for maintaining all supplies and equipment functioning for departmental operations. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff. Performs in the capacity of staff technologist when necessary.
Under administrative direction of the Assistant Director, Director of Radiology and the Radiologist, performs administrative and consultative duties within CT Scan Department. Is responsible for directing departmental activity and technologist staff and supporting ancillary personnel. Performs the duties of the Assistant Director when the Assistant Director is absent.
