ONEOK is seeking college students who are currently working on completing their degree and who will graduate and be available for full time employment by June 2010.

ONEOK Opportunities for new college graduates:
Selection for the 2010 ONEOK Trainee Orientation class:
Join a group of 18-25 multi-discipline new college hires for an initial 3-4 month in-depth company orientation to all aspects of the ONEOK business model, then be assigned to a professional position related to your degree/discipline in one of the segments of the company: Natural Gas Distribution companies: Oklahoma Natural Gas (ONG) Texas Gas Services (TGS), or Kansas Gas Services (KGS), or ONEOK Partners: Gas Gathering and Processing, Natural Gas Pipelines, Natural Gas Liquids Gathering and Fractionation or Natural Gas Liquids Pipeline or one of the ONEOK corporate staffs.
**We are anticipating 4-5 slots for new accounting and finance graduates as part of the 2010 orientation class
Program may include the following:
- Phase 1: 2-week overview of the industry and company plus team building and various opportunities to meet various levels of management
- Phase 2: smaller group rotations over 7-8 weeks through various segments of corporate staffs and ONEOK Partners includes trips to tour various plant and field sites as well as job shadowing, presentations, case studies, review of processes, economic analyses, reports, reading assignments, question and answer sessions, etc.
- Phase 3: smaller group rotations over 5-6 weeks through the ONEOK Distribution company (ONG, KGS or TGS): field tours, job shadowing, presentations, reports, etc. with the trainees based in OKC/Tulsa or Austin or Overland Park/Topeka.
- Other training/development opportunities and projects
Trainees will initially be based in Tulsa, then assigned to various departments within ONEOK
Many of the accounting/finance new college hires can expect to be placed in Tulsa, OK, however positions may be available in Austin, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, Medford, OK, or Overland Park, KS.
Selection for direct hire into specific assignments within one of the segments of the company (Natural Gas Distribution companies: ONG, TGS, or KGS, or ONEOK Partners, ONEOK corporate staffs, etc.):
- Staff Accountant or Financial Analyst
- Scheduler , Rates Analyst or Regulatory Analyst
- Various other positions (check other job postings)
Job Requirements:
Qualifications for Finance Trainee:
- BS degree in Finance to be awarded December 2009 or spring 2010
- prefer those with a double-major or minor in Accounting
- Prefer GPA of above 3.0
- Involvement in extracurricular, community support activities
- Demonstrated leadership
- Prior work experience (internships, summer or part-time work while attending school, etc.)
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on an extended basis (e.g. citizen or permanent resident)
