Job Details:

Novelis, Inc. seeks a  Data Engineer in Atlanta, GA to create data ingestion pipeline and processes based on jointly defined requirements. Requires Master’s Degree in Business Analytics and Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field or foreign equivalent and two years of experience as a Data Engineer, Software Engineer or related occupation. Experience must include data engineering in time-series data using historians; Working on time-series/historians such as IBA and PI; Using Python and/or Spark; Utilizing Big Data platforms: Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Spark, HBase, HDInsight, Data Bricks, Hive; Using programming languages like UNIX shell scripting, Python; Working in production environments with SQL, PL/SQL or T-SQL with RDBMSs like MS SQL Server, Oracle; And reporting and BI packages including PowerBI, Tableau, and SAP BO.
