Job Details:

Novelis, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Engineer  in Atlanta, GA to Collaborate closely with the Functional team to thoroughly understand the requirements, data sources, and business rules, and then managing the development team to build, test, and deploy the solution. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematic, Statistics or a related quantitative field or foreign equivalent and five years of progressively responsible experience in a Data Engineering, Analyst or related role. Experience must include using Informatica or DEI/BDM, Python and/or Spark. Working on data analysis using SQL and/or other equivalent tools; working with business in Data modeling and data analysis; Leading a team of developers and drive technical solutions; Working experience of SQL, databases and table structures to query the data from various sources; integrating and presenting results to the business; Working experience of ETL, data pipelines using Informatica (DEI/BDM); Using Big Data platforms including Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Spark, Data Bricks, or Hive with programming languages like UNIX shell scripting or Python; Working with reporting and BI packages including PowerBI, Tableau, SAP BO; And working on cross-functional teams.
